25th Anniversary Trip to Sonora

We just wanted to thank you for setting us up for an absolutely amazing stay at Sonora Resort. The accommodation, service and food were all beyond exceptional.

We ended up fishing with Henry for the week. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable and experienced but we shared a lot of laughs in the process too.

We thought we would send along a couple of photos to show that we really did manage to have a little fun on the trip :) And yes... that's the original wedding dress from 25 years ago.

Again, many thanks and we look forward to returning to Sonora again.

The service was out of this world

We just wanted to say a very heartfelt thank-you to everyone at Sonora who went the extra mile to make our wedding day so very special. Everything was perfect and we were extremely happy with the service we were given during our entire trip by all the staff. It was a pleasure to work with the entire team. You made sure that every detail was not overlooked. Special thanks to the chef Matt and sommelier Dan who made sure our wedding dinner was nothing short of fantastic. Our guests haven't stopped reminding us how great the dinner was. Also, a very special thanks to Wendy, Karli and Amber for coordinating all of the details from guest transportation to decorations and making sure the whole day went smoothly. Everything came together so well and we didn't have to worry about a thing thanks to the great job you did. And lastly an extra special thanks for all of the resort staff that made our entire stay so enjoyable. We have never been treated so well as we have at Sonora. The service was out of this world.

Thanks Sonora, you made everything very easy for us and we can't tell you how much that made our day all the more enjoyable. All of our guests have said how wonderful the wedding was and how well it was organized. Everyone loved the resort and the whole experience so much they can't wait to come back. A Vacation Of A Lifetime

In all my travels I've never encountered a better service anywhere. Your staff made me feel like an old friend. They catered to my every whim even before I realized that I had any whims at all! Sonora's glorious setting, perfect room, exceptional food and outstanding mix of activities made this a vacation of a lifetime. Now that's class!

I have to compliment you and your entire staff for making my brother's 50th birthday trip an amazing vacation experience! First of all, not only is Sonora Resort pristine and well maintained, the resort is absolutely beautiful with the most exceptional service. I've stayed in some of the worlds most beautiful hotels including many of the Four Seasons Hotels, Ritz Carlton Hotels, Mandarin Oriental Hotels, and yet they lack the warmth which Sonora posses. Your entire staff made us feel that we were the only guests there, and any request we had was answered without hesitation, "I'll take care of that". Forgive me if I don't remember everyone's name, but Donna, Karli, Courtney, Tula, Richard the famous bartender, and Jeff our guide, were genuinely friendly, professional, and made us feel "right at home". The Grady whites are beautiful (although it would have been nice if you informed the fish we were coming), the Spa is peaceful and serene, and the tasting menus were a true highlight. I had the pleasure to meet Matthew Stowe for a brief moment and was delighted to give him my compliments. I consider myself somewhat of a "foodie" and love to dine at the best restaurants in the major cities, and yet it was his presentation that set him a notch above. I especially loved the appetizer served in the caviar tin! To top it off, on the morning of our departure, the general manager walked us to our sea plane, now that's class!
