Justine Smith


After getting her start in the Vancouver fine dining scene, Justine began her career at Sonora Resort in 2014 as a Chef de Partie before moving to London, England to train in a Michelin starred kitchen. After returning to Canada, she rejoined Sonora Resort as Sous Chef for 3 seasons before taking on the Executive Chef role for the 2020 season.

Justine’s focus and philosophies in the kitchen are centered around using the whole product, showcasing natural flavors and taking advantage of all the wonderfully diverse ingredients to be found on the beautiful West Coast of British Columbia.
