Customize the duration of this tour to suit your viewing desires. Stay closer to home and marvel as Steller sea lions bask in the sun, Dall’s porpoises and Pacific white-sided dolphins frolic in the rapids, and sea birds swoop to pluck fish from swirling whirlpools. Or extend your duration and venture further into Johnstone Strait or the Strait of Georgia in search of Orcas and Humpback whales in their vast, natural habitat. Midway through the 4-hour tour, we’ll stop at a neighbouring island for a rest break.

As each day in nature is unique. Tours are scheduled to coincide with tidal conditions and when the resident wildlife is most active. Our guides customize each outing for the best viewing and opportunities to experience our incredible local tidal rapids. Typically, an abundance of wildlife is seen on this tour and we always do our best; however, it is not possible to guarantee animal sightings in a natural habitat.
