Protected from Pacific swells with snowy peaks on all sides, the calm passages surrounding Sonora Resort offer a West Coast fishing experience that’s unparalleled. Here, it’s not uncommon to catch glimpses of eagles and bears while out to hook a chinook salmon.
With experienced guides, sophisticated gear, and a fleet of Grady-White fishing vessels*, we provide everything you need for a successful outing. Head out as a twosome or gather a group of up to six in one vessel. Don’t worry if you’re a first timer, we’ll show you the ropes, and the reels.
All five of the main Pacific salmon varieties swim the waters around Sonora. Chinook salmon are the star attractions, Pink, Sockeye, Coho and Chum salmon also pass through our waters. While fishing opportunities change throughout the season, it’s not uncommon to catch different species of salmon in one day at certain times of the season.
