Sonora Resort supplies:
- Child-sized life jackets and personal floatation devices. Children are required to wear their personal flotation device onboard boats at all times.
- Child-size weather gear, including rain pants, rain jackets and gumboots in child 6 - youth 2.
- A limited selection of weather gear for children age 4-14.
- Adult sized gear for children 14 and up.
Island Currents Spa
Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times while using the spa and mineral pools.
No lifeguard is on duty at the pool. While in the pool area, we require that anyone under 13 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Due to the strong ocean currents and the absence of railings, we require that anyone under 13 years of age wear a personal floatation device and be supervised by a parent or guardian while on the dock.
Nestled in the woods on the way to the boathouse, the Eaglet's perch is an outdoor jungle gym with plenty of places to climb, swing, and slide. It is the perfect spot for our youngest Sonora guests. Because of the wildlife on Sonora Island, children must have adult supervision.
