At Sonora, guests are treated to all gourmet meals and beverages, including house wine, and beer, in the Tyee Dining Room and Lounge as part of your accommodation rate. Customized off-site, including oceanside canapes on the deck of a private villa, is also available.

Group dining and catering options are available for groups of 10 adults or more, or for special off-site catering outside the Tyee Dining Room. Custom menus are available in 3 different formats: a set tasting menu, a set menu with options within courses or a gourmet buffet. Tyee Dining Room – 4,605 sq ft (up to 120 guests, including the Tyee Lounge)
Our Dining Room is a perfect environment to engage and inspire with sweeping windows that frame the ocean view, a large live aquarium teeming with marine life from the surrounding waters, a grand piano and a unique artwork collection.
Tyee Lounge - 2,437 sq ft
Located in the Tyee Lodge, our open-style bar and adjacent seating area invite guests to sip a hand-crafted cocktail or sample a glass of wine from our award-winning cellar.
Tyee Patio – 2, 245 sq ft
In the height of summer, take in the breathtaking vista views and subtle ocean breeze from the Tyee Patio featuring the Tapas deck and wood stone pizza oven.
Chinook Room – 2,770 sq ft (up to 30 guests)
Indulge your group in an exclusive and intimate dining experience. The stunning Chinook Room is situated right near the water with a private entrance that is accessible by the Chinook Patio.
Chinook Patio – 3,310 sq ft
A unique dining experience al fresco on this waterfront patio overlooking the Innes Passage. The Chinook Patio is available for booking after 5 pm, weather permitting.
John's Point Picnic Lunch (12 – 50 guests capacity)
Enjoy a private Sonora-style BBQ picnic lunch on East Thurlow Island, a remote island 20 minutes away by boat from the resort. These gourmet lunches are most commonly enjoyed by groups who are partaking in our full-day fishing activities. Roundtrip boat transportation is provided, along with a private chef and service staff.
