Yoga at Sonora

Hatha yoga is an ancient practice of connecting the mind and body with the rhythms of the natural world. At Sonora, starting your day with yoga is the perfect way to prepare yourself for the peace and serenity of this beautiful place. 

Small, semi-private classes will be held by certified instructors who will lead you through a relaxing series of postures to the sound of soothing music. In each posture, you will be encouraged to quiet your mind, breathe deeply, and allow tense muscles to gently release. The experience is sealed with the meditative pose, Shavasana.

Hatha yoga is a series of gentle, restorative poses that is appropriate for nearly everyone. For those with limited flexibility or chronic injuries, our licensed yoga teachers can suggest modifications so you can enjoy every posture.

When: Classes will be held each morning from 8:00 am to 9:15 am.

Who: Hatha yoga is appropriate for nearly everyone, from beginners to experienced yogis. We limit class sizes to 5 so the instructor can make modifications for each participant.

Equipment: We will provide all of your equipment, including mats, bolsters, blocks, straps, and a cozy blanket for Shavasana.
