Fiona Dalrymple Joins Sonora Resort as Artist in Residence
Discover the beauty of British Columbia through the eyes of acclaimed West Coast painter Fiona Dalrymple, Sonora Resort’s first-ever Artist in Residence. From August 19–26, guests can enjoy complimentary open-air painting sessions, an interactive art workshop, and the rare opportunity to witness creativity inspired by wilderness unfold in real time.

Spring Awakens The Wild
April is here, and with it comes longer days, warmer breezes, and nature bursting to life. At Sonora Resort, the emerald forests awaken with fresh greenery, waterfalls swell with mountain runoff, and the coastal air carries the sounds of nature coming to life. Bald eagles soar above the treetops, sea lions lounge along rocky shores, and the crisp scent of cedar drifts through the air.

As February unfolds, we embrace the crisp air and the snowy end of winter, bringing a refreshing chill while also igniting anticipation for the warmer months ahead. Our dedicated team has returned to the island, meticulously preparing to welcome you back to our west coast sanctuary beginning May 1, 2025.
