At Sonora Resort, we take pride in growing talent from within, and Kaitlin Ross’s journey is a wonderful example. What began as a summer job in 2005 has turned into over 20 years of dedication, leadership, and a deep love for this special place.

Kaitlin first joined Sonora as a dock hand while attending university, and over two decades, her passion for the resort, the surrounding community, and the team has fueled a remarkable journey of growth and commitment.
After becoming a Fishing Guide, she took on the role of Marine Operations Manager and Head Guide in 2011, overseeing the dock and guide teams and managing Sonora’s activities program. In 2019, she stepped into the role of General Manager, leading Sonora through seasons of innovation, unforgettable guest experiences, and the challenges of a changing hospitality landscape.
Now, as she assumes her newest role as Vice President of Sonora Resort, we are thrilled to celebrate her dedication, leadership, and deep connection to Sonora.
Kaitlin’s story is a reminder that Sonora is more than just a workplace, it’s a community where passion and hard work can flourish into a lifelong career.
